Movie review:

Had the narrative of Acharya been distributed written down, it might have been a short fiction of a sanctuary town with a legendary past. A sanctuary tracing all the way back to 800 years is at the core of two settlements — Dharmasthali and Padaghattam — flanked by a shining waterway and thick timberlands. As personal stakes emerge, individuals frantically attempt to clutch trust; an impossible friend in need reestablishes dharma.
